The canopy frame of the Falco requires a lot of tube bending. We found an interesting method in the great book of Tony Bingelis "sportplane construcion techniques". He has always a clever solution for the difficult problems. I am preparing the bending jig here.

 

Since there are two different tube diameters to use i made two different jigs. Here I'm bending the tube. It's very easy to make a good bend.

The completed frame. I have installed aluminium strips in the joints between the tubes because they will hold the tubes together during welding. Then , they will be removed.
