The layout is drawn and the holes for the instruments are drilled.

 

 


 

Cutting the instrument holes. We followed the method suggested by Tony Bingelis, and the holes are slightly wider than the instruments.

 

 

 

Drilling the holes for the instrument screws. We have a lot of old instruments at home and also some parts. To locate the holes we used one of them as a mask and then enlarged the holes with a bigger drill.

 

 

It looks good.


First installation on the falco. Some of the instruments are not the one we'll use , as the turn and bank and the VSI.the "good" ones are at the avionics shop for a check.

 

 

This picture shows how little space is left between the instruments and the fuel tank. It's possible to see also the radios in the middle.
