The
layout is drawn and the holes for the instruments are drilled.
Cutting
the instrument holes. We followed the method suggested by Tony Bingelis,
and the holes are slightly wider than the instruments.
Drilling
the holes for the instrument screws. We have a lot of old instruments
at home and also some parts. To locate the holes we used one of them
as a mask and then enlarged the holes with a bigger drill.
It
looks good.
First
installation on the falco. Some of the instruments are not the one
we'll use , as the turn and bank and the VSI.the "good"
ones are at the avionics shop for a check.
This
picture shows how little space is left between the instruments and
the fuel tank. It's possible to see also the radios in the middle.
