Basically
the falco is ready to be fiberglassed. The fiber is on the wing.
Fitting
the windshield in place
After
a lot of sanding and filling work it's time to prime all the falco.
This is just a first layer of primer, that is going to be sanded
off to find the low spots.
After
the primer it's time to finish the canopy skirt. We made them in
fiberglass and then there's the need to seal against water. We used
Stika , a product used in marine applications.
we
worked a lot to have a good alignement between the windshield and
the canopy. the result is quite good.
The
falco is primed and ready to be rolled over.. It need the same work
in the lower side of the wing. the difficult thing is that the room
height doesn't allow it to be done inside. So we needed to brake
the side wall.
