The front fuel
tank. It's an original falco tank, so we cleaned and tested it.
Cutting the titanium
of the firewall. You need good scissors to cut it..
The falco has always used square boxes for cable and lines that pass
throught the firewall. So we decided to use the boxes we had as well
as the airbox and all the items that could be used. The grey AN fitting
is used for fuel line, while the blue one is for the smoke system
Another
view of the airbox
The
firewall is starting to look like a real one.We have the Christen
inverted oil system installed (without lines) and gascolator,as well
as the electric fuel pump. Also throttle and propeller cables have
passed throught the firewall.
