Larger flap-aileron complex required repositioning of trailing edge rib no 2 , and wing walk widht is consistently reduced.
A Falco builder will note immediatly a couple of differences: reinforcement of the aft spar , different flap hinges and modified flap control tube.

 

 

 

 

This hinge is completly different from the "usual"one. It required a new upper hinges.

 

 

 

 

This modification was suggested by Ing. Valtorta, because he found some weakness in the aft spar of a production falco.This is done in the flap tube hole area.the height of this reinforcement gets lower gradually at the ends to prevent breaks.
